Blackfriars is more aimed at Strathclyde students to be honest. One of my mates from school is living in there just now and it's pretty decent - en suite bathroom, double bed, free internet for...£78 a week maybe?

Cooperage Place would be more suitable for students of Glasgow Uni I'd say.

Hay! Sorry to hear that btw. If you dont mind me bein nosey, wat grades do you have? Am so scared. Also applied for pharmacy at strathclyde bt havent heard back yet. I think ill cry if i get an unsuccessful though. Got in to pharmacy at rgu but dont want to go to aberdeen blergh! no offense it just isnt my cup of tea.!

got A-human bio A-maths B-chemistry n B-english , i go to a sports school in glasgow (train 5 times a week, ran for scotland) so can only do 4 subjects a year maximum . This year doing highers physics and admin (both crashes) n higher german , i am also doing a night time college course in massage with anatomy and physiology, ddnt wrk experience and have a weekend job working with children for the past 2 and a half years. so gutted i ddnt get in , dd u hear back ?
Phoned the uni to find out if they could tell me why i didnt get in and the couldnt give me an explaination.does anyone no if there are other ways of finding out ? is it worth writing a letter?

Definitely write to them, e-mail them, call them and keep on doing it. Most places usually give you feedback if you ask for it. They might be busy just now with replying to offers but keep on hassling them and they should let you know in the end. Sometimes these courses are just so competitive that it's ridiculous and other times they expect far too much.

For people who didn't get offers for pharmacy and physio don't worry too much about it. There's always another route whether it's apply next year or do sports science/physiology or pharmacology and then do another course after the degree to train. It's a longer route but you'll get there in the end, even if it doesn't seem like it just now!
