Does anyone know of (or have) a table which lists all of the unit multipliers.
Like, nano-, micro-, Mega-, kilo-, etc. and what their values are (like x10^-3)
These always confuse me!

Your typical Casio which is allowed in the exams normally has them, which is probably the best well kept secret along with the fact that they can solve simultaneous equations.
Look over your number keys and you should see a shift function for p (pico) m (milli) k (kilo) M (Mega) G (Giga) etc. Depends on what model you have of course, but most ones I've seen do.

to be honest, if you do enough past papers & practise questions, they kinda eventually stick in your head. at least thats what i found.
mind you, i can still be heard shouting in labs "milli is 10 to the minus 3, yeah?". but thats just making sure, obviously

when i'm dancin' with you,
tomorrow doesn't matter,
turn that music up,
till the windows start to shatter,
cos you're the only one who can get me on my feet,
& i can't even dance

Once you have your answer to your problem on the screen of your calculator, press:
"ENG"
it will convert it into one of the mega/pico formats etc (although as a power of 10, eg 1000 or 1k displayed as 1x10^3).
keep pressing the "ENG" button for alterative formats, increasing/decreasing in powers of 3.
you were correct dfx, just the wrong button!

You probably clicked Submit twice. Anyway, I meant for inputting data e.g. 3000 could be put in as 3 [SHIFT] K where K is in the yellow bit over a number (can't recall which one!).

Thanks. Was in town and saw one of those calculators, got it, and it is pretty good. Takes the pressure off a bit!
