I dunno, but I got a definition:
"condenser such that vapour over a boiling liquid is condensed and flows back into the vessel to prevent its contents from boiling dry"
In the PPA for esters the wet paper towel over the test tube acts in a similar way, as it stops any chemicals from leaving the test tube by eveaporation, as the paper towel condenses them back into the tube again again.
