How are you all feeling about this coming exam? Im dreading it to be honest! I havent done any revision so far cos ive had my other subjects but im guessing that i should start pretty soon cos there is just so much to cover... and so little time! What do you think is likely to crop up? Hows the revision going?

I've got ad h modern sudies the day before which needs even more revision than chem so my chem revision will probably get squeezed into the night before and the morning of the exam! better not let my teacher hear that! x

I think unit 3 is probably the hardest specially redox. Unit 2 seems very straightforward, just lots of stuff to memorize and regurgitate. Unit 1 bonding in elements and compounds is a killer lol. Most of the calculations in chemistry are just mole ratios and stuff...

Are you talking about higher rather than advanced higher by any chance?

i've revised unit 1 and half unit 2 so far and its not too bad, but i know unit 3 is my weakest by far. unit 2 isn't that bad really, and unit 1 is quite similiar to unit 3 in higher physics which is good!

I don't like unit 2, I think units 1 and 3 are not too bad though.

Yeh unit 1 is fine cos its all higher physics mostly, unit 3 is ok but just so much of it to remember but i think it is the most interestin unit outta the three. Dont even get me started on unit 2 - hate it with a passion!

Hows everyone gettin on now?
I havent done anymore yet but i better get cracking with it.. god theres hardly any time left!

I shocked myself by getting 91% in the 2004 paper last night without looking at notes (got a chemistry lecturer to mark it so it was marked fairly).
