I'm currently in 5th year at the moment, and hoping to do the Design for Digital Media at the end of 6th year.

They're looking for a portfolio, and the website gives a very basic description. Can someone help explain what is needed in the portfolio in more detail? Thanks.

For reference: http://www.graysdigitalmedia.co.uk

Also, Design for Digital media requires Higher English. Do you think they would accept an alternative to english? As it is my weakest subject. :/

Advanced Higher Art and Design (the design part) should give you a big enough portfolio for the course. I'm in the same boat as you mind so I've not been to RGU as a student but I plan to.

At an open day I was recommended to begin Graphic Design miniprojects (I suppose you could do the same thing?)

All RGU subjects, to my knowledge, recommend English. I think they'll be reluctant to let you in without it but I can't imagine it's entirely impossible.
