Im not sure if this should be under Adv physics or higher physics as i did it in Mechanics. However, here is my problem
Q) A car of mass 1000 kg which has a driving force from the engine of 1.8 KN is towing a car of
mass 700 kg whose engine is out of action. The friction force on each car can be assumed to be
650N for the 1000 kg car and 500 N for the 700 kg car. Find (a) the tension in the tow rope
between the cars and (b) the acceleration. © Starting from rest, the time taken to travel a
distance of 1 km.
any help would be appreciated as i cant seem to get the right answers (which have been provided)
