I thought it was a very straight forward paper. A few questions I couldn't do so just guessed but apart from that I'm quite happy.

What did everyone else think of it?

the multiple choice was really tough this year i thought but i thought the written was pretty fair =]

Thought multi-choice was hard - had no clue for quite a lot of them - was guessing!!
Although paper 2 wasnt that bad - may have scraped a C.

I thought it was a fair exam too. The multiple choice was quite tricky in parts and there were some concepts that i have never heard of in it but the written section overall was good!

the multi choice was a pain in the ass but alot easier than i thought it would've been. it was mostly a straightforward paper i'd say, only one or two weird things. lots of calculations which were good i thought

I thought some questions in Section B was ridiculously easy, it's like SQA wants to give free marks to people. Otherwise, the whole paper was decent.

overall i think it was a fair paper.

section A was a bit annoying as i could get it between at least 2 it was choosing between them that was the hard bit lol

section B most of the questions were fair there was a few parts that i was unsure on hopefully done enough to get a decent pass

thought the paper was really quite good. i personally really liked the mc as i had done around half the questions just from lots of past paper however the was a few that were really difficult.
section b was really easy as well. looks like me studying paid off

totally agree with you there - i also managed to usually get them down to 2 then had to guess!
for the first question it asked about a halide and transition - wasnt there 2 of them? probably something else you do but i just couldnt figure out what!

There was two of those but one of them ended in Ite instead of Ide, and that was wrong.

Was panicking in the morning when i was looking at some pastpaper questions i couldn't do but the exam turned out quite good ... i think!!
