i was just wondering if an opertaional area of work only encompasses areas such as marketing or finance, or does this also include the manufacturing process??

any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm crashing it so have no previous background knowledge!

An operational area of work would probably ecompass the manufacturing process, as someone has to work in that area.

But dont count on me as i didnt do Higher, and been nearly 3 years since i sat my SG lol

I would guess that an operational area of work concerns the day to day (a.k.a operational) decisions of the business. One of the functional areas of business that we learn in business is the operations/ manufacturing dept therefore this area would be an operational area of work. I will check the sqa for you though!

P.S. I checked but it didn't say but by my logic and past experience I'd say it was definately an operational area of work
