I went to the beach today. The minute we got there it clouded over, but it was still quite fun.

You need to get a dog. They're good for the beach. You can dig up the beach, poke jellyfish and throw sticks in the water (and if you're my mum you can throw the poor dog in after the stick).

hate the beach, hate sand, its coarse and rough and it gets everywhere

I like the beach when you're there. I don't like the beach when you still have sand in your bag 3 months later, or sand in your ice cream or anywhere in general.

I actually prefer to wander than sit on some annoying grit all day.

I actually hate sand, but you can't go to the beach and not build a sandcastle !!!
It's practically illegal !!!!!!!!!!!
And chips are lovely on the beach......with mayo !!!!!!

I get worse sand in my bag from the astroturf at school than from the beach.


Macaroni pie on the beach, at lunchtime in school is the best to eat btw.

Hmmm, I live about 3 minutes away from a beach. Forget just how lucky I am sometimes!

Yay! I was at the beach yesterday and spent the day poking jellyfish with big sticks, running about like a child, playing giant hangman and noughts and crosses on the sand and stuffing my face with half melted chocolate! Was a good day!
