It's a week, thats not bad for ensuite as an increase from standard. If I wanted an en-suite flat in uni accomodation in St Andrews I would have to pay an extra 60 a week, i pay 50 just now, and the increase is to 110 for en-suite self catered a week. If I want a room that is catered I need to pay another 30 on top of that to 140 a week. Value for money or what dry.gif

Yeah its a bit crap, but the rich folk dont stay in uni halls mostly, daddy owns half of st andrews so one may choose his or her dwelling and enjoy the finer things in life at the westport, only 3.50 for a pint measure of Tennents; what a bargain! tongue.gif

And I thought 60 a week for 26 weeks was bad blink.gif

yes its awful, St Andrews have put up their rent by 44% over the past 3 years. Before that it used to be cheap and a lot cheaper than any other uni town.

cant believe that Aberdeen isnt en-suite as standard ohmy.gif

Dundee is a bit of a rip off, but ensuite, internet and full utilities for around 85 a week

Oh, my hall is catered too, and the en-suite rooms are bigger, so decent value. I only did my SAAS today, oopsy! laugh.gif rolleyes.gif

I am imagining you, derek, saying that in a very posh English accent.

That was my second choice.

First was the Johnstone Catered.

- not that I'm even going to get in crying.gif

Oi you, I'm a born and bred Glasgow weegie, don't call me posh! mad.gif tongue.gif

I'm only there due to a generous SAAS bursary. wink.gif

^ I got put there too, but I'm really looking into getting a flat with Unite instead. I'm just a bit worried about there not being many first years, but I'd rather have my own bathroom me thinks haha
