Can I ask where (I've had a look at sqa.org.uk but can't see any mention)?

I'd also pass my good luck to all for tommorow *bites nails*

Yup, best wishes to all waiting on the results slipping through the letterbox 2moro morning (well, lets hope it's 2moro morning, bloody postmen)!! My post could come in anytime between 8 and 12...something I could be doing without.

PS James1, where is this info???

Good luck everyone!!

I'm sure you'll all get the grades you are hoping to get!

james1, are you referring to the pass rates for each subject? I think these are only found in the PA Reports which (I presume) haven't been published yet.

Eep. I'm terrified. I do NOT want to get my results. sad.gif

Anyways. Good luck everyone - I'm sure you've all done marvellously. & I hope you all get the results you deserve.

http://www.sqa.org.uk/files_ccc/NQCertific...04PassRates.xls

I stumbled over this: I think it's maybe supposed to be confidential until tomorrow.

Wow!

That has just frightened me big time!

Isn't the pass rate specified for english nearly the same as last year? Just noticed 2003 result was beside the 2004 ones. 2003 Pass rate was 59% while 2004 was 64%

sad.gif unsure.gif blink.gif - I don't want these results.

I'm guessing the A/B/C marks needed for Maths were really high this year, as Maths has got a lower pass rate than Physics which was seen to be really hard and the Maths was supposedly the easiest ever.

Yup I totally agree...I looked at Info Systems. Only 299 people got an A, I wanted an A...I don't know if I am 1 of those 299 people out of 2,800. I hope I am! : (

I don't get this.

Surely there are more than a thousand or two people doing Higher English in Scotland. Doesnt seem to add up this one.

Still sh!ting it for tomorrow.

I think its ONE region's results. Thats the only way because there is more than 2000 candidates sitting Higher English in the whole of Scotland.

SQA are really insecure:

This shouldnt be released till tomorrow, yet it is readily available

Douglas

Posted 09 August 2004 - 09:24 PM

anyone know the history one having no luck downloading the file!

Kevin_Kilbane

Posted 09 August 2004 - 09:25 PM

SQA never learn. Lots of people failed last year at English and what do they do this year? Give terrible essay questions.

I don't see any of that really matters, all it tells you is how many passed each exam, and how many passed at each level. Your own personal results can't really be predicted, as you don't know the pass mark for an A/B/C etc.

What is everyone hoping for 2moro. I want at least 2 A's and 3 B's.
Physics and English say a B, and one other shock B.

What times peoples post come at? Mines was at 1 o'clock today! ohmy.gif But 11 o'clock on Friday! (so dependable! dry.gif )

Where did you find the file?

I agree aswell, they really are insecure.

I wonder what other stuff is lying about in the site.
