Confluences & Tributaries?

What are they? I cant remember and I can t find the meaning anywhere in my notes.

I'm not sure if I can be of any help, but I'll try.

A confluence is where two or more rivers merge together to form a larger one.

A tributary is a stream contributing its flow to a larger stream or other body of water.

that's right! The confluence is the point at which the tibutary river enters the main river!
