i know how to go about doing this question but i cant seem to get the right answer

when i differntiated i got

12x^-1/2

then made it 12/ -( sqrt.gif x)
and then when i put x = 4 into this i got the answer to be -6 for the gradient but the answers say the gradient is -3/2 huh.gif

it's not 12/-sqrt.gifx , it's -12/x3/2 or the square root of x3

which would give you -12/ sqrt.gif 43 , which is 8

so -12/8 = -3/2
