Not prepared for anything else, have only sat 1 dw paper in my life.
I've never even seen a real SQA listening paper either!
So, in short, I am going to fail.

Otherwise can you tell me if this is right:
La ville est toujours animee et on peut rencontrer des gens san difficulte.
and does it mean:
The town is always lively and it is difficult to go out without meeting someone.
(i dont think it does but thats what ive got written down)

"La ville est toujours animee et on peut rencontrer des gens sans difficulte."
Meaning - The town is always lively, and you can meet people without difficulty. Or anything similar.

Sharon - Give us a topic, I'll post up some vocab for you!

Yay! Linking words are so useful

Ok.
have you got any good vocab to do with:
- exchange trips
- the future (im rubbish at speaking about things I would like to do in the future)
Exchange trips:
le bateau - boat
la traversée - crossing
avoir le pied marin - to "be a good sailor"
le long-courrier - long haul
faire escale - to make a stop-over
les voyages ouvrent l'esprit - travel broadens the mind
reposant - relaxing
le routard - backpacker
faire du tourisme - to go sightseeing
l'hébergement - accommodation
la vie nocturne - nightlife
I would say that I travelled to France by boat, it's different and there's so much more vocab to use!

Future:
l'avenir - future
à l'avenir - in the future
d'abord - first of all
après ca - after that
je voudrais - I would like (add verb infinitive, eg-)
je voudrais travailler - I would like to work
je ne sais pas exactement - I don't know exactly
l'année prochaine - next year
Hope that helps!

If there's any more vocab needed, give us a shout.
A wee correction to make from Derek's post:
l'année prochaine (année is fem)
or you can use:
l'an prochain (an is masc)
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise....
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise."
