i've got notes on this from a class i'm doing at uni this year, incase you want any background info. just give me a shout
when i'm dancin' with you,
tomorrow doesn't matter,
turn that music up,
till the windows start to shatter,
cos you're the only one who can get me on my feet,
& i can't even dance

I am supposed to be doing an investigation using a spectroscope to do something
i think determine wavelengths, but im failing miserably, any ideas?
Sorry I'm blank on that one. I've decided I'm doing SHM damping using Eddy Currents which should be exciting.
Btw this is the HOLY GRAIL of physics investigations
http://advancingphys.../PracInvest.pdf 71 pages of described investigations and over 100 suggested topics.

We're to start looking at the investigation on Friday... does anyone have any advice of the easiest or best investigations to do? I know that it shouldn't be just to do with these elements, but I'd like some guidance as to what kind of investigation is good and all that.
Signatures suck. They clog up websites and serve no purpose.

hey
im doing my investigation on factors affecting the force on a current bearing wire....i've done a few experiments, one of which refused to work
and i've ran out of ideas
i've done the obvious ones like current, direction, length of wire, angle .....
anyone got any ideas??

if you ask your teacher nicely, they might let you have a look at some old investigations, just to see the style of it - ours did

I was doing inertia until 2 weeks ago, when suddenly my teacher changed it to stuff to do with hydrogen and a spectrometer.
The reason being that no one has ever done inertia as an investigation in my school before. She said there was plenty for me to write about, and the experiments were easy to get the right equipment/ cylinders... but she wouldb't help me out with any of it, since she didn't actually have a clue. She also told there was tonnes of background info, but gaves me no hints whatsoever. So I had to change if I was ever to get any help.
This new one is dead easy. I'm well on my way 2 weeks in.
