Labour.

None of the mainstream political parties really represent my viewpoint, but I would probably vote SSP or Lib Dem to try and reduce Labour's majority.

What do you think about lowering the voting age to 16? It seems reasonable to me, they can tax us, surely a democracy should allow all the taxpayers to have their say.

I'm the same, hence why I support AGS, who are a relatively small party that I agree with totally.

True, we should be allowed to vote, but it will never happen. sad.gif Truth is the main parties don't care about the young people of the UK coz we are less inclined to go out and vote. wink.gif

On a lighter note...maybe one of these could entice your vote!!! laugh.gif

Church of the Militant Elvis Party
Monster Raving Loony Party
Legalise Cannabis Alliance
Idle Toad Party
Adam Lyal's Witchery Tour Party
Rock 'n' Roll Loony Party

No joke, these are all officially registered to run in the election!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Do phrases such as "bland conformism" offend you?

Whats wrong with what they say?

Would you have voted "old labour" too? Because they were much along the same lines as the SSP are now.

The Scottish Socialist Party is Scotland’s trail-blazing, anti-establishment party. We reject the bland conformism of the mainstream parties who accept without question a economic system built on privilege, inequality and greed.

What's wrong with that??? blink.gif

Dave

old labour is not the current government. It was old labour that made then un votable during the previous Tory government. A governemnt that caused so many problems

SSP phrases that offend me

"Our goal is to build a socialist Scotland that will stand up to global capitalism and spearhead the fight for a socialist Europe and ultimately a socialist world".- i mean come on

"anti-establishment party"- omission of stupid party

"radical left wing manifesto"

Also this attitude of getting rid of nuclear weapons, power stations, subs etc. i mean nuclear power is a great thing and also very safe these days. We need nuclear weapons as a deterant against rogue countries.

i am not worried however extreamism never works in a stable country and never has worked in this country. So, i can sit back and relax while laughing at Colin Fox.
