I'm taking it this year and tbh I have absolutely no idea why... I was never a fan of English as a subject but I started the AH course (after getting a C at higher) and loved it. There is loads more personal work you can do which I think suits me better. Having said that, I don't seem to be doing as well as I'd hoped to... A thread for AH English would probably be very helpful, seeing as I can't find one anywhere else on the world wide web... (Okay so AH eng is a scottish thing - I know that!!)
