Being perfectly honest with you what can you actually say about Market Research that isn't covered throughout the whole of the course?

For example, Research & Development can possibly be an execution of market research.

What does a business have to think about before getting a product out onto the market? The 4 P's - but how do they know they've got the right product? By using Market Research... etc

There wasn't really a need at the time I wrote the notes to include a section on Market Research simply because it isn't very important in the grand scheme of things.

It's very unlikely that a question on Market Research will come up; and if it does, it'll be in the Essay-Type Questions section.

Don't worry about it.

Thank you for the nice words lesley smile.gif I would quite like an A in Business Management, as I don't think it a difficult course, I'm glad I crashed it instead of doing standard grade then higher.

no problemo. sg bus man was sooo much fun. we made a business called "bloomin' candles" and sold ,erm, candles and flowers tongue.gif we all got a 10% dividend! all together now *woooow weeeee* (slight problem is we all only invested like £3 tongue.gif) it has helped a bit this year too actually cos i remember stuff on quality control and the like. It's not that hard though this year, jsut as everyone has said, jsut alot to learn.

Hm, about just over half the people in my class are crashing it and I think the best results were mostly from our half..

My main reason for being glad I never took it at standard grade is because I hate the higher tongue.gif

God tell me about it! I think that too, however i do think that standard grade would have helped me tremendiously in this course. I find it hard cause i dont think in business ways at all and find it hard to get enoguh points in my answer. Although if i had dun it at SG i definately would not have been doing it at higher!

I personally found the marketting section the easiest- if you still think the notes are lacking I could perhaps make a marketting wallchart as its really quite simple

ok i have just done my prelim! it wasnt too bad. it was based on John Lewis. The only thing im a wee bit worried about is that you were asked to describe the decision makin process and i did but i didnt relate it to the situation in the essay question cos i didnt really know how to without makin a mess! I did the same for the role of the manager in an organisation, but i dont think thats as bad. wot do u think?
