#100482 swot matrix

Posted by Indie_Cindy on 29 October 2007 - 07:53 PM in Business Management

*tries to remember management from last year*

So for SWOT analysis you'll have to talk about the Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities & Threats of Ikea.

So start of with the positives (strengths) e.g good repuation amongst customers, brand name etc.

Weaknesses could be something like high production costs for example.

Opportunities could be to increase market share.

Threats are usually things to do with competitors.

Thats basically what a SWOT analysis it, a SWOT matrix is the same thing except you draw a square, divide it into four and put your information in the boxes.

#100481 ASSISTANCE PLEASE

Posted by Indie_Cindy on 29 October 2007 - 07:40 PM in French

Hiya,

You get a dictionary for both of the papers.
For me the hardest part was the listening && the translation (just depends on you).
Just like any other higher if you put in the work you get the result.

some other things:
I wouldn't worry about the Directed Writing, its pretty much the same thing that comes up every year, so you can more or less memorise stuff for it and you'll be fine.
You'll probably panic at first with the listening because of the jump from standard grade, but you'll get used to it after you've done a few smile.gif.

Hope that was of some help

#99194 Exam '07

Posted by Indie_Cindy on 05 June 2007 - 09:05 AM in Administration

Oh no theres not, theres 1 theory and 1 practical paper. I'll send you a message about whats in it, roughly.

#99123 Exam '07

Posted by Indie_Cindy on 03 June 2007 - 03:15 PM in Administration

No ones started a topic so i thought i would.
I thought the theory paper was quite good, compared to what it could have been. Paper 2 was different than what i thoguht it would be, and it took me like 10 mintues to figure out how to do a form again, apart from that i think it went quite well though.
How did everyone else get on?. smile.gif
