Aww good stuff :], yeah i got a question about how change has impacted characters, which was quite good, not saying my essay was upto much right enough. But hopefully everything else should pull it up :]. i really want to know what i got for my dissertation ahhhh,lol!.

Yeah i think i messed up on the National Park question as well. But overall, considering i've never been able to understand atmosphere, paper 1 was a gift, i was ecstatic this was the year they made it optional!.

Ugh i know, 6th year just makes you lazy, i think because your just like "schools finished forever in a month!". Im in summer mode, which isn't good when you've got exams and conditions to meet!.

Ahh cool, i was thinking of doing Marketing. Since its international business & modern langages i applied to, then my languages would be my elective subjects =p. Emm yeah im going to it, i hope its interesting && not just one reallyy long lecture.

&& Jem : one of my friends has applied for dentistry @ Glasgow & Dundee and she hasn't heard back, she said people probably won't hear back until April i think.

Unconditional - Napier : European Business Languages
Unconditional - Stirling : Marketing and Modern Laguages
Unconditional - Glasgow Caledonian : Fashion Marketing

First choice is Strathclyde im well chuffed i got an offer :], still got to here back from Edinburgh but i don't particularly care about there lol!.

So for SWOT analysis you'll have to talk about the Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities & Threats of Ikea.

So start of with the positives (strengths) e.g good repuation amongst customers, brand name etc.

Weaknesses could be something like high production costs for example.

Opportunities could be to increase market share.

Threats are usually things to do with competitors.

Thats basically what a SWOT analysis it, a SWOT matrix is the same thing except you draw a square, divide it into four and put your information in the boxes.

Hiya,

You get a dictionary for both of the papers.
For me the hardest part was the listening && the translation (just depends on you).
Just like any other higher if you put in the work you get the result.

some other things:
I wouldn't worry about the Directed Writing, its pretty much the same thing that comes up every year, so you can more or less memorise stuff for it and you'll be fine.
You'll probably panic at first with the listening because of the jump from standard grade, but you'll get used to it after you've done a few

yeah it is 5 choices, was rather annoyed because i had my 6 courses all picked out over the summer!. oh and the price is £15(if i remember correctly), i dont know if thats lower than last year...

pretty much, except i wanted an A for admin
but i passed maths!!!!! omg.

Hopfully i can appeal for Admin.

Go back for 6th year: Advanced English, Geography ,Spanish (crash).

I got my timetable yesterday and i'm doing 4 subjects, so i have at least one free period a day, which is good. I dropped maths so i have 6 free periods a week, but my college class doesn't start until August , so just now i have 11 free periods a week

No ones started a topic so i thought i would.
I thought the theory paper was quite good, compared to what it could have been. Paper 2 was different than what i thoguht it would be, and it took me like 10 mintues to figure out how to do a form again, apart from that i think it went quite well though.
How did everyone else get on?.
