Thats a shame! You should go to college for a year and do legal studies, then u will get into law no bother the next year.

My prom is on tuesday - i cant wait!! But im not sure what its gonna be like cos from what ive heard, alot o girls are not wearing anything fancy! One of my friends is wearing a black strappy dress that she has worn to the pub before...

I think its gonna be such a shame if its not all glam.. cos it has been the past two years so i want the last one to be the best - rather than the worst!

It may seem like all left, right, left etc now but think of the freedom you will get when you pass. I personally hate getting the bus. Dundee is so full of smelly people who sit next to me on the bus and I am to polite to move so have to sit there til they get off. Also the Buses in Dundee are always late and take to long so the sooner I can drive and go on wee trips the better.

had my 15th lesson tonight and did a 3 point turn second time round and then 3rd time and 4th time! Gotta go book more this week though. thinking off 3 a week for the hols since I have my car sitting at my door, giving me a snider as i go towards the bus stop.

Anyone have any idea how many more lessons i should go for? I "only" really need more experience of what I have already done and tho do, Left reverse, Left Sweeping Reverse and Right Reverse and Moving off up/down hill. any idea how many hours that sould take

Sorry but no one can really answer that for you... its how you progress, and also how your instructor feels because after all, they do know best.

#34823 Is advanced higher chemistry hard?

QUOTE(ally @ Jun 9 2005, 10:14 PM)
Yeah, you'll have to put a lot of work in it, especially if you're only doing it 3 hours a week.

The course isn't too bad. It's just a case of revising and practising a lot of questions. The investigation takes up a lot of time though, so it's best if you don't leave it till the last minute.

View Post

Yeh, my teacher left our investigations until very very last minute - i mean, on the morning they were due to be collected, i was sitting in the 6th year lab frantically doing the calculations, and being up until 2.45 am the morning before doing my write up!!! Grr!! i was mad! Our teacher got the dates wrong so the night before it was due he phoned us up to tell us that it was needed for the next day! hahaha so yeh, good luck with that!

Says he who wrote an excessive 35 pages? Rambling on and on picks up no extra marks, just gives the marker a bad impression that you feel you need to repeat yourself in order to make a point.

Really you think it's that bad?! I'm quite enjoying the first few days of it, it's just been the 3rd unit of Higher Physics so far! Still, it's got plenty of time to get harder smile.gif

#34020 whats more important as appeals evidence?

QUOTE(dfx @ Jun 5 2005, 08:49 PM)
Im sure I remember reading somewhere on the forum someone getting around 70 in their prelims but had a successful A appeal cause of other evidence... hmm... lemme try and find it.

View Post

Well in my prelim i got 72% and in the actual exam i got a band 3 B. I could have appealed but there were soo many people trying to appeal, that no one was awarded another grade cos they would have realised that the teachers estimates were wrong.
