Well, since their plans involve renationalisation of the transport network, costs will be a lot less than you think (since profit margins are no longer factored into the costs).

From the information I've had from the SSP:

- Scrap the M74 extension.
- Scrap the Edinburgh airport extension.
- Do not renew our nuclear weapons.

Three easy steps which would easily free up enough cash to expand our transport network to the required capacity.

Also, of course you would still need conductors - they are required by health and safety law, not just to check tickets.

With the case of Nuclear Weapons they have absolutely no power in that area.

Which futher leaves me to belive that MSPs are just a bunch of numpties in a suit and tie, every party seems to not know the powers of their own parlaiment.

On the topic of leaving laptops; when my Dad was working in Glasgow he popped into a shop and left his laptop in the back of the car. Some junkie broke in and stole it. The police caught the guy though and he had to pay up for it! He had to pay something like two grand even though the laptop was just worth half of that.
