Can someone please please try and help me with this question thanks.

Find the st values and determine each stationary value (min or max)

y=e^-x(sinx)

When i differentiate I get -e^-x = 0.

What do I do when I get to this stage??

Thanks

I have heard that there is actually not that big a demand for engineers any more and engineering is on the decline. I dont know if this is true, can someone help me out because I am thinking of doing engineering at Uni.

Thanks

Well basically I am interested in doing Computer & Electronics Systems Enginnering and as far as I am aware Strathclyde is the only uni is Scotland that does this course.
Firstly am I right or is there any more uni's that do this course or similar?
Secondly What is the best uni to do this sort of thing at eg. best reputation, where most employers go etc etc?

Also is there any similar courses like this? And where are the best unis that do this?

Thanks Any help would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure that they're different, hydrocracking is doing it with hydrogen. My teacher mentioned it briefly, but I don't think hydrocracking is part of the course (although I think steam cracking is).

thats ok then, whats steam cracking, lol. I always get mixed up between them all?
