Posted by $impl北展▇ on 06 February 2005 - 04:49 PM in Physics

QUOTE(Dave @ Feb 6 2005, 02:03 PM)
yes, their are proofs of equations that require binomal expansion but really to derive equations in Physics you are just using substituation and changing the subject of the formula

Binomial Expansion?
Is this stuff in unit 3 or something? blink.gif

I never knew that you had to pay to use the instructors car blink.gif
After all that money you pay them for lessons and stuff, i thought they would atleast let you borrow their car for half an hour ohmy.gif

Exactly and even though the test is only 30-35 minutes they charge for a whole hour because they have to take you home after the test. So they say.

I think you are allowed to use your own car or you parents car, but you need to have insurance, and also an interior mirror for the examiner to use blink.gif

Although I can drive I just get too nervous on the test.

#13783 AH Physics Prelim

Posted by $impl北展▇ on 06 February 2005 - 11:16 AM in Physics

QUOTE(werlop @ Feb 6 2005, 10:10 AM)
I have my exam tomorrow it will have unit 1, a bit of 2 and all of 3 in it. The practice prelims that I have been looking at are soooo much harder than the past papers.

Rich, was yours a P&N paper, if it was, care to tell me any more about it tongue.gif

For problems see http://www.ltscotland.com/nq there is loads there.

btw unit 3 is much easier than the other 2, so you should be fine, there are a lot of proofs though.

Alright, i dont think my prelim was a P&N paper, i think it was totally made up.
It was on blue paper and everything laugh.gif

I hope unit 3 is not too bad, as i have my investigation to do aswell unsure.gif

Posted by $impl北展▇ on 05 February 2005 - 10:02 PM in Physics

Hey has anyone else sat their Unit 1 & 2 prelim for AH Physics yet?

I did mines last week, and it was a two and a half hour paper, similar to a pastpaper.
It had 12 questions altogether 6 from each unit.

Now i will be starting my unit 3, and continuing with my investigation, when i go back.

i have used it however these are third party questions

What you want to look for is ones that say "official DSA question bank". The actual DSA stuff is in a white box with the official DSA trademark on the front

I see what you mean.

Yeh but most instructors start of with a company like the BSM, and once they become qualified then the start up their own company.
