Would appreciate help on solving questions like this:

Write down the formula for cos(C+D)

Use the triangles to show that cos(C+D) = ...

You would use the trig formula,
cos(C+D)=cosCcosD-sinCsinD and sub in the values of C and D then just solve it by finding the (cosC [^x] cosD) - (sinC [^x] sinD)
