Hi!!
Could someone please explain the part in purple to me??

z = x + iy, w = a + ib

|z-w| = c

|x + iy - (a + ib)| = c

|(x - a) + i(y - b)| = c

|(x - a) + i(y - b)| = c
(x - a) + (y - b) = c *

circle centre (a,b), radius c

* why does it become (x - a) + (y - b) when i[^2] is -1??
