computing includes looking at computer systems (data representation, hardware, applications), software development (programming, and development lifecycle) aswell as things like networking and multimedia. The computing course is about looking at the science in a fairly low level in short
Information Systems on the other hand is an in depth look at a particular area of IT namely databases and large storage of huge databases which would be used in a business setting (generally). In this course (which I should point out I didn't take at school level but have looked at in university) you look at database design and the different implementations of them besides other things
