i know this is a very trivial problem but i cat solve exponential functions, need help with this y=2^x solve y=a^x point given (1,3)

use of ^ to show power

I'm a bit confused as to what your question is...

are you trying to find a, in the equation y=a^x, where (1,3) is a point on that curve.,

y=a^x, y=3, x=1
3=a^1
a=3, as anything to the power 1 is equal to itself, ie a^1=a
