wow, that has to be one of the most difficult exams in the history of advanced higher, no proof by induction, no gaussian elimination, no euclidean algorithm

what did everyone else think?

Didn't find it too bad to be honest, I'm not sure about a few of them though. Annoyingly I have just noticed the "y>0" statement on question 5 so I've got that horribly wrong.

What did you get for?

Question 4: I got ln81
8: (10 choose r)x^(20-3r)
13: 14e^x - 8e^(2x) + x^2+3x - 11/2

14b: x=-t, y=3+2t, z=7+6t

15b: (e,e) minimum
15c: (e^2, (e^2)/2)

16 was horrible but I got there in the end. 12 was gay too but I didn't write down my answer.

na no worries man lol i fucked up question 13, i put the PI as Cx^2 :| :| :| and forgot about Dx +E.. so thats at least half if not more of the marks down the drain for me on that question.

yeh im hoping for a B too, hopefully it'll be an A if the grade boundaries are low enough biggrin.gif

Was severely annoyed with the lack of gaussian, euclidean and proof of induction... those fifteen marks would've totally saved my butt through that exam!

It was alright... I could've done better could've done worse. Can't remember any of my answers!
