The Channel 4 advert thingies starring an assortment of Channel 4 celebs got me thinking.

What was the first CD you ever owned?

For me, it was by Ant and Dec, I'm ashamed to admit. It was called When I Fall in Love. I got a CD player for my Christmas and I got this bad boy to go with it.

You can watch it on YouTube.

Truly awful.

What about you?

It was summer '01 before I bought both my first single and first album, which were Sum 41 - Motivation and Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler respectively. I was, and still am, a big Sum 41 fan. smile.gif

I hated B*Witched. That cow Lindsay not only stole my name, but she took Lee from 911 as well. Hmph.

That was mine too!! How random. I went though a dance phase before going to extreme pop, then to the kinda rock/gothy/emo stuff (didn't like it that much but my friends did and I was a wee teenager) and now I probably like everything.

I was a confused child.

Hmm, I can't remember it terribly well, but it was between Offspring's "Smash", ACDC's "Hell's bells" or Hanson's, err, first album! laugh.gif

Hmm...I'm not really all that sure.

I got a Smurf's Go Pop CD when I was quite young so it might have been that! laugh.gif I also own a B* Witched CD and I'm sure I havr a 5ive CD somewhere! cool.gif How cool am I?

This nostalgic filled thread, has made me get out Hits 99 and I've had a wee listen to it - S Club 7, Backstreet Boys, Sixpence none the richer and all that jazz!

Mmbop has to be the best song ever to sing and dance to while drunk. Because you don't really have to know the words, just make noise.

I was watching some of "The Top 50 Pop Bands" on the Hits last night (I was going to watched Crimewatch, but it didn't start to 9!)

There was plenty of music from back in the day. Busted were on it, Five, and Boyzone with that "Love me for a reaaaason..." song...very entertaining and funny half an hour! tongue.gif

Let me be the oooone girl
Love me for a reeeeeason
Let the reason be looooove.

I never liked Boyzone. There we go, we've found a boyband I haven't liked, haha! I didn't like Westlife either. Irish boys sitting on stools never did it for me.
