It was relatively straightforward I think - a couple of trickier questions but overall wasn't too hard.

Loads of people told me they found the multiple choice really difficult.

I found it easy compared with past papers and stuff, starting to wonder if that's a false sense of confidence and I've in fact made a right mess of it biggrin.gif

the multi choice was a pain in the ass

What I found annoying was that I had the exam paper, data book, rough working sheet and answer sheet on my desk and I didn't where to put what laugh.gif

The two multiple choice q's I got stuck on were the avogadro constant (I put neon atoms) and the one about the bonding in the oxide.

I got the neon atoms for the avogadro's constant question too - hope we're right!

I thoguht the whole paper was relatuvely staright forward. A couple of questions in the multiple choice threw me. The written paper I found quite easy, I think i may have lost about 3 marks in wirtten paper. Alot of the questions in both of the papers were taken straight out of past papers form the last 7 years. Well I'm confident that I'll get an A band 1, my teacher has said he'll hunt me down if i don't. ohmy.gif

What I found annoying was that the data booklet was of a different format to the ones I'm accustomed to using blink.gif

Our school got sent a new set of data booklets in the new format a couple of months ago so we were used to them - did you not even get told?

No, wasn't too bad anyway. Is it just me or do these exam papers seem to change colour in accordance to variable light intensities?

We were given photocopied versions of the new data book a few months ago and told to use that instead of the old one smile.gif
