hey :] i no this is 4 higher biology, but im doin higher human biology an im findin it really hard 2 find sites with past paper answers ...i've tried the SQA site but they only give u from 2003-2006, which is good but i was wonderin if any1 knows any sites that give u answers 4 as back as 1995? x

Was human biology running in 1995? I thought it only started in 99?

If there are ones from before 2000 then the best person to ask is your teacher. I did Human Biology in 2005 and I had the past papers so I've got the answers for 2000-2004. Are there any particular parts you need? I've not really got the time to type every single one out!

I think it will be tough to find any past paper answers from the mid 90s. Human started in 1993 i think.

yeah it started in 1993 coz i have a past paper that dates bk that far, but xpurple_starsx, i no theres a lot 2 type out an ur probably busy with other stuff, but if u have any time 2nite or durin the weekend, i wud really appreciate it if u cud give me the answers 4 section B and C 4 the 2002 paper. thanks, good luck 2 u's aswell :]

The other thing is, my brother is crashing Human Bio this year, and he got a really good teacher, and isnt struggling at all. I got a crappy teacher, and the whole class is struggling, and I am crapping it incase he does better than me, even though I did Bio in 3rd and 4th year..

Viruses, Immunity..Lol I suck at that...I always forget everything there...

And pretty much all of Unit 3. Lol Kidding on. Um. The Nitrogen Cycle.
I didn't get it in SG, I still don't get it...

The Nitrogen And Carbon Cycles and Meiosis although i do have a basic knowledge of them. At Higher level they don't really ask you about the cycle itself but just certain processes such as:

Nitrifying bacteria: Convert ammonia(formed from decomposition of dead plants and animals) to nitrites and another set of nitifying bacteria convert these nitrites to nitrates which can be used by the plants.

Denitrifying bacteria: Bacteria in plants convert nitrates to nitrogen gas in the air

Assimilation: The process by which plants convert nitrates in the soil to amino acids

Nitrogen fixation: Plant nodules convert nitrogen gas to nitrates

If you learn those i think you should be ok if there is a question on the cycle although it was the last question last year so it may not turn up this year.

Ah well Human Biology is now over. Thought it was an ok paper with pretty straightforward KU and PS. Hopefully got a B. Essays were ok too. Did memory(as it came up in my Unit 3 Prelim lol) and female infertility.

How did everyone else get on?

It was a pretty fair paper I think. Not the tougherst I've seen.
I really really really hope I've passed.
