I thought that the paper was very straightforward, no trick or anything. It was quite an easy paper and I guess we'll see the pass-mark jump by a fair whack this year if my class is any indication on how candidates are performing...

I'm hoping for an A/B... but we'll see I guess... I'm not very good at predicting...

It wasn't as bad as i imagined it would be. I was always hoping for at least a B and i guess i could get it.

Without a shadow of a doubt the easiest paper in years.

Maybe I've got an A, time will tell... Depends on how the difficulty affects the cut offs. smile.gif

It was pretty good.
Teacher had figured out the answers and, comparing, I dropped about 14-16 marks in the whole paper, putting me just into borderline A biggrin.gif
Most of those questions were ABSOLUTE GIFTS!
Especially the one with all the uncertainties.
Q21 was a tad trickier than it first looked - did anyone else use the cosine rule?

All in all, definately not a disaster.
Hoping for an A, might get a B.
Can't complain tongue.gif
Beyond it, and us, shines a greater hope and a brighter future
Can't wait 'til the exams are over!

everybody in my school found the paper hard ...huh.gif dunno what im gonna get .. hopin to get a B tho.. not Sure !! The multiple choice i thought was the easiest.

theres mixed responses at my school quite a few thought it was easy but alot of people thought it was hard

Some questions are a bit dodgy in Section B but i think almost everyone I met agree that the multiple choice questions are quite easy, probably the easiest they have ever been.

ye multiple choice wasn't too bad

it was section B some of the wording that confused me

It was okay I think.. if I'm lucky I'll have scraped a B but I think I passed...

Usually our teachers are with us to say like good luck and stuff, the physics teacher weren't around at all at the beginning and we went to look for them after the exam and they had all run away!!

Went for sine rule on this one - I had forgotten my protractor so couldnt sketch it tongue.gif

i thought paper was pretty easy! i was all worried ther was gonna be stuff about semi conductors and mosfets and all that crap which i dont understand at all! but it was jus one question in the multiple choice about photodiode thing! and it was easy! hoping for an A! biggrin.gif hope everyone else done well too biggrin.gif x

Iagree, I'm so glad there wasn't to many electronic questions, just really the wheatstone bridge one which wasn't too bad. Overall I found the paper quite staright forward. I reckon i've lost about 18-20 marks so i should get a high B or a low A depending on the grade boundaries

i cant even remember what i put dont want to look at the paper again just depresses me. everyone found it easy i thought it was okayish but not too great o well nothing i can do now

Desperate to know how i got on - really not sure!!

i got 3 as D as it says that "its speed increases at a constant speed" which seems to me to meen that the lift is accelerating downwards

The multiple choice answers earlier in this thread are correct.

They're not "official" but they are correct. smile.gif Official ones won't come for a long long time. smile.gif
