blink.gif I only know 2 of my texts in enough detail! What?! I wonder if I've got time to study that short story. But that seems pointless, cause I know the prose well...if only I understood Othello...unsure.gif

Good luck to you too MuffinMuncher (great name btw!) smile.gif

I have 4 texts - a poem, non-fiction text, drama and short story. Praying that my poem and non fiction come up and if only 1 of then then a back up my drama - dont have a clue about the short story!

Good Luck to everyone, I hope we all do well!!

Good luck also, and don't worry - I'm terrified lol.

I'm doing a drama, short story and 2 poems.

I doubt either of the poems are gonna come up though, so I'm praying I'll get a good drama and short story one... or a good poem one for The Horses by Edwin Muir...

Good luck all.

There is no reason to worry: you only have to write two essays, so you really only have to have studied two texts. Studying more than two is only recommended because it gives you more choice in the exam. However, if you want to study a last-minute text in order to make yourself feel more confident then Google "Visiting Hour" by Norman McCaig: it is a short poem, easy to remember, and HSN has very good notes on it (which can be found here).

Thanks Pete, but I'll just stick to the 2 texts I've got. I'm not feeling very confident (I just can't seem to remember the quotes, if I only try to learn like, 15, then I feel I haven't learnt enough!) but I'll keep working and see what happens. I just hope there's a question for them! (Don't we all!!)
