Right, so i have my french speaking coming up, so im doing a bit of preparation and i came across this phrase
"Je serais dans un endroit parce que je connais bien"
So my question is, do i need the 'parce que' in there, because my teacher marked it right but i dont think it makes sense?

erm, depends what you're wanting to say.. it should make sense, if your teacher said it was ok. if you meant, "i would be in an ideal place because im familiar with it" wouldnt you say, "Je serais dans un endroit idéal parce-que je le connais bien"
erm.. or if u meant "i would be in a place which i know well" i'd say, "Je serais dans un endroit que je connais bien"
ach i dunno you should ask your teacher, they're probably right
