They want AAAB and i only have AABC and i am not sitting anymore highers this year, just want to work and earn money
If you have an Advanced Higher in something like physics or maths then you might get an offer. Otherwise you dont stand a chance. St Andrews get 11,000 applications a year now and they have been quite ruthless as of late

And, like paul says, there is "wiggle room" and you can take and change a few subjects...

I'd like to be close to home (And be cheaper to get home lol)
Aberdeen is actually quite a nice uni and its pretty decent for maths (not sure about physics) and its only £25 return to glasgow, and you only go home at xmas and easter lol

But by the sounds of things looks like your only interested in glasgow

I also had my Cambridge interview yesterday, I should be expecting my rejection at the start of next month.
Has anyone had offers from St. Andrews yet? I've not heard anything from them except one email

Bristol - ABB (maths A, physics and something else B) or AAC (maths A, physics A, and something else). They didn't say whether it's maths or applied maths but I don't think it matters too much. I'm serioulsy considering this one as well, I really like Bristol.

I m a university ambassador for st andrews and I can tell you that they have only one admissions tutor per department, so in addition to this they lecture undergraduate classes and also research. Plus we havent been sending out offer letters yet (cos ambassadors get drafted in to make up the offer packs as well as give tours on open days). You will get either an acception or rejection letter through the post when you hear on UCAS (due to the fact we get 11000 applications per year for first year courses!) we cant send out an ackowledgement of your application. There arent enough of us to do that

What department are you applying to at St Andrews? I am a second year mathematics student at St Andrews so my tutor is the guy who would decide whether u got in or not

Waaay.
Same Bristol offer as me. And I had my interview yesterday. Fitz is so the bestest college ever. Anyway, which college? I have no idea how mine went. My subject interview was interesting and the questions weren't too bad. I hadn't seen much like them but I think I got most stuff eventually, after much prompting. The general one was utter crap to put it politely. I got asked some staightforeward questions I couldn't answer, managed a little maths after being an eejit, and then managed to forget everything about my PS. Should have read my book twice.
And I've heard thata lot of people get in after thinking that. It means the interviewer was able to push you.
