I keep getting told different dates,first it was supposed to be 2 weeks ago, then last week, now its supposed to be today or tomorrow and ive also been told it wont be till october!Teachers are so unreliable sometimes!

It all depends on the appeal, but appeals for Uni should be in by now, Higher Still, end of this month, middle of next month, and SGs near the beginning of November

Im waiting for one appeal, and my teacher isnt too sure when its coming - she has been told as many dates as me, but she assures me it will be here soon...
Whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping.
When you feel like giving up...just remember why you held on for so long.

WOOOHOOO!! got my appeal today....and yes, 
it was accepted...so thankful...i now have a B in Higher Chemistry...the joys!!

Do all schools get them at the same time? I hope so, then i should have mine tomorrow... grrrr i hate this whole oh we're not quite sure when itll come in but it should be soon...

My appeal came back to day and I was unsuccessful to go from B to A for english. I'd love to know the reason considering I had an A for everything all year but think ill leave it at that because I have my grades for dentistry anyway

My friend went from a C to a B in Modern Studies after getting an A in the prelim. Just shows you can't rely on your prelims to get you top grades, but at least her grade improved!

I didnt get either of my appeals...Didnt think i would though, having gotten less in both prelims than i got in the exams.

i got my appeal for art i have a C now and 5 highers woohoo.
sadly didnt get my appeal for a B in english. noone got an english appeal in my school, my teacher says theyre really strict.
although if thats the case they should just ban english appeals to stop wasting theirs and our time and getting our hopes up!

Yeah barely anyone in my school got their English appeals either!
One person went from a D to a C and another of my friends went from a B to an A but those were the only successful ones I heard about.
Kind of a shame for one girl who got an A in the prelim but a C in the final exam, cos she didn't get her appeal.

Yeah, hardly anyone got theirs at my school either. I think it was 3 or 4 people in total.

i no that the skools find out if the appeals r successful before we do. i left skool in may. woz wonderin cos im not there anymore will the skool send me a letter teling me whether or not i got my appeal?

If you did get an appeal, youll get a replacment certificate through in november. But if you want to know i think your best bet would be to phone the school or go in and talk to your old teachers about it.
