I'm doing both AH History and AH Modern Studies too! Like most advanced highers I'd imagine it will be fairly demanding - with a lot of independent study. What study theme are you doing, just out of curiousity?
Oh weep for Adonais—he is dead!
Wake, melancholy Mother, wake and weep!
Yet wherefore? Quench within their burning bed
Thy fiery tears, and let thy loud heart keep,
Like his, a mute and uncomplaining sleep;

Ah, right. I'm doing Law and Order and research methods. Good luck, anyway!

I did that last year. Nee dany help then drop me a message and I'll be more than happy to help!

The Dissertation is probably the most demanding bit of the course. My advice would be choose a topic you're intersted in as it will make it a lot easier to spend those valuable and necessarry hours on research. Also keep all your research properly documented (makes it easier for referenceing when you come to write your dissertation). i.e write on any print outs and photocopies the following:

- Book or website
- Author(s)
- date of publication
- Place of publication
- page number(s)
