Failed Maths as expected, but also failed physics, as did my mate. We have had no head of department in physics all year, and the teacher we had was not very good. We were told to finish the course at home after many struggling through the year. Most NABs were only just passed by most, though I did OK, and she has now migrated to Norway after leading the class through the course leaving a trail of confusion. When I go back, the department is being run solely by a probationer teacher, therefore chances of appeal = 0%.

So more than a little dissapointed wih physics, but glad to have the rest under my belt. Still have 6th year to consolidate things for accounting at RGU thereafter. (Hopefully!)
Will not be celebrating until I get an appeal for physics.

2. Did you meet your expectations
Yeah! I got 3 As and 2 Bs in the prelims, so was hoping for about the same. I'm especially delighted I got an A for English, as I was doing badly at the start of the year.
3. If not will you appeal?
Nope.
4. What are you plans now?
Go back and enjoy 6th year, especially the social side of it, now that the pressure's off. That'll also give me time to fully consider what I want to do after school.
5. How do you plan on celebrating?
To be honest, I'm not really one for wildly celebrating these sort of things. If my parents want to give me some money, that's fine, but I don't want anything huge at all.

I'm happy with English and Chemistry, those are what I was expecting.
Geography I can understand, because it was quite a tricky paper compared to previous years, but Maths and Physics I'm extremely pissed off with. I came out of those exams certain that I'd gotten A's. I even duplicated my answers onto the question papers during the exams, so that I could mark them myself when I got home and check with other people etc. Both were secure A passes, so unless the A pass marks are like 90% (which for some reason I doubt) then somebody @ SQA has ballsed it up.
Die SQA.

A for Music, B's for Maths and Admin.
2. Did you meet your expectations
No, not really. Obviously my expectations don't match my ability :/
3. If not will you appeal?
Yes. Apparently I have a strong chance of a successful appeal for higher maths: two prelims (covering the entire course) at 73% and 83%. I'll also appeal for Admin as I got an A for the prelim, although I'm not overly bothered about the outcome.
4. What are you plans now?
BSc Computer Games Technology at University of Abertay. After checking UCAS Track (and calling Abertay), I discovered that my conditional offer had been changed to unconditional 4 days ago; so I guess I got in. Go me.
5. How do you plan on celebrating?
Hmm... I think I might just treat myself to a new DS Lite (I'm such a kid).
Anyway, congratulations to everyone else on their results; some very smart people here indeed!
