My former school has actually had a top 10 winner of that competition twice. They got money, and a trip to London paid by IBM.

There are so few females doing Computing though! When I did AH, the class was 50% Male/50% Female with a grand total of 2 people in the class! tongue.gif

If it encourages more girls to take computing then why not. It's even very male orientated at uni too.

Ah - sexism, always funny!

Well as a girl doing advanced higher - there can't be too many of us. It would be funny if they had less than ten though. smile.gif

I don't get why Higher and Advanced Higher seem to be being judged as the same level... Meaning that a person who scored a higher percentage on a higher paper does "better" than a person who scored slightly lower on an Advanced Higher paper... or am I just very confused?
