Don't know about everyone else, but I love video games, particularly a few MMORPGs. I myself play Guild Wars mostly, and a little game I came across a few years ago called Puzzle Pirates, non-online games I play are Prince of Persia (the first, I don't like what they did to the sequels sad.gif), and the Sims 2 (or at least I used to, gotten a little bored with it lately).
I really only play PC games, not much of a console fan except the Gameboy DS. How about everyone else? Discuss the wonderful world of video games!

I play mainly FPS games such as Quake 4, Half Life 2, Doom 3 and whatever, but I also love Tomb Raider, the latest game rocks, apart from the fact it's a bit short. I'm also a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, and can't wait until MGS4 is released. Looks awesome! biggrin.gif

Hooked on the game Oblivion right now, its amazing! Also a big fan of Doom 3 and Farcry.

Probably the best video game I've ever played is Final Fantasy 7 - incredible!

Addicted to Pro Evolution Soccer 5. Also play the following occasionally:

Battlefield 2
Half Life 2
Unreal Tournament 2K3 (Meh, I'll buy the new version when it's out)
Rollercoaster Tycoon (2 and 3)
Theme Hospital

All played on the PC.

I play waay too much;

Operation Flashpoint
Call of Duty 1 & 2
Hidden and Dangerous 2
Unreal Tournament
Battlefield 2 (occasionally)
Half Life 2
Rise of Nations...

Yeh, the list goes on!

The only console i'm excited about this year is the Nintendo Wii. Its unique and is offering a new gaming experience... all the PS3 is offering is better graphics, for graphics i look to my PC. PS2 is only fun for Pro Ev tongue.gif

I'm looking forward to the Wii too, but what's with the name? I think I preferred Revolution...

Quoteness: "Wii sounds like 'we,' which emphasizes this console is for everyone. Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii."

"Wii has a distinctive "ii" spelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people gathering to play. And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of video games that sets it apart from the crowd."

"So that's Wii. But now Nintendo needs you. Because, it's really not about you or me. It's about Wii. And together, Wii will change everything."

Riiiiight...

Gaming is fantastic. My main games right now are:

Rome: Total War
Battlefield 2
Age of Empires 3
Battle For Middle Earth 2
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (phwwoooar still a great game)
PES 5
Alexander

And one game I thought was utterly brilliant was Fahrenheit. If you can, you should try it...innovation of last year, for sure. Fahrenheit (known as Indigo Prophecy in the USA).

If I ever game now, it's on my PS2, but very rarely. I used to play these a lot:

Pro Evolution Soccer 5
Singstar Rocks! laugh.gif (The only one I still play!)
Grand Theft Auto
Colin McRae Rally (classic!)

However, I still play Football Manager from time to time on the PC! smile.gif

Here are just some of the PC Games I enjoy. I would list console games as well but that would take forever...

Zork - a text adventure from the 80's.
Star Control II - probably one of the greatest PC games of all time. It was released in 1992.
Master of Orion (I, II and III) - very indepth games, particularly Master of Orion III.
X-Com: Terror from the Deep - a highly original and addictive game.
The Curse of Monkey Island - the best monkey island game, in my opinion.
Discworld Noir - another adventure game. The music is excellent and so too is the storyline.
Black & White - very original game from one of the best game programmers in the world, Peter Molyneux.

Also, any title by Blizzard (they're my favourite games company).
