How come everyone's times are so precise? And why do i have to suffer regi twice??
I'm guessing your schools all trust you more than mine sad.gif

laugh.gif ours is really strict 'cause we don't use a bell anymore, and the corridors aren't just one way so if teachers let classes out at different times like a minute later or earlier, it doesn't jam up the corridors.. Apparently anyway...

We get registered in the morning to make sure we aren't late and stuff, but we still get registered in every class, or supposed to anyway.

Does anyone else get that automatic call home if they're not at school? My school's supposed to have this system but I wasn't in school on Wednesday and I didn't get a call.. why have a system and then not use it properly!

At my school they've got this system where texts get sent out to parents if you're absent. Apparantely it got removed for senior pupils tho since some people made a fuss about it biggrin.gif

Yeah the thing we realised last year was that none of our classes have registers made up before the summer, except for maths and english, so we could have just went home after regi & no one would've known lol.
My school day is:
9.10 - 9.10 - Regi
9.10 - 10.00 - Period 1
10.00 - 10.50 - Period 2
10.50 - 11.05 - Break
11.05 - 12.00 - Period 3
12.00 - 12.55 - Period 4
12.55 - 1.45 - Lunch
1.45 - 2.40 - Period 5
2.40 - 3.35 - Period 6

Our attendence officer sometimes bothers us a few days late if we forget a note, but there aren't any calls home unless someone makes a habit of it. Actually, sometimes we've been marked off when we are actually there and not found out until a few weeks later by an irrate attendence officer. That was really annoying, sixth years used to be allowed to just sign out at will but becuase of some certain teachers making a habit of marking us off when we were there and then not telling us it got stopped.

We had that too. Its soo stupid. My granny got dad's phone after my dad had it so she still gets texts saying "your daughter was not at school today" etc.
