What kind of horn? A proper horn in F or one of those E-flat horns that primary kids are forced to learn?

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

I had a pakistani chanter. >.<
I gave up because it made a too horrible noise.

You need a proper, African blackwood one...made by a proper bagpipe maker wink.gif

Ideally, yes. smile.gif But the polypenco ones arent bad at all in most cases. I think it depends on the reed that you put in it.

Sadly, my beautiful african blackwood practise chanter has a big crack in it. Riiight down from below the mouthpiece to the reed seat. crying.gif It still sounds sweet but I'm afraid it'll actually crack in half. sad.gif

Full double horn in F and Bflat (though I don't use the Bflat side unless I'm going above the stave). It's horrible to carry but very beautiful.

He ain't THAT bad!

i can't imagine DT with a different vocalist now.

Prefer James LaBrie to Charlie Dominici though.

Plus u always have Liquid tension Experiment or Transatlantic or Platypus if u want a different singer.

I'm a drummer and a bassist. Can play a bit of G-tar, but I try to avoid it (bass is so much cooler). Wish I could play the piano...it really helps when it comes to sight reading music, and music theory in general.

That's similar to me. Bass was my first instrument, followed by guitar, then piano.
