For the exam I know that revising the fecth execute cycle is a must, but should you also revise a memory read operation and a memory write operation ?

tbh i dont know wither or not it technically appears in the course. If you know it then it probably does. I would doubt it would appear but even if it does i would think you could make a decent answer on the spot by thinking it through

Best thing is to think well if it might then i may as well learn it, its not overly complex this stuff is it. Last thing you want is to leave the exam said i was going to revise that but...

If i am not here i am somewhere else

yeah, if it asks u it will most likey be for just a few marks and u should be able to make it up on the spot. just remember the main bits from it. like for a memory read operation, memory location, address bus, data bus etc etc,.

Knowing the Fetch Execute cycle is a must so these two are pretty much just a spin off with slighty different discriptions.

You are best to know those two, or at least one like the back of your hand!

that way you will gaurantee yourself full marks for the question, same with your algorithms
