Just out of curiosity I was wondering how many of you have had trouble with a PS2. Mine started to make strange noises before it stopped playing DVDs and finaly ceased playing PS2 games(all in the space of a couple of weeks). I clean my PS2 regularly as well as treat it with care so what is happening? Anyone with similar problems? blink.gif dry.gif

My PS2 works fine - I've had it for a couple of years and had no problems with it.
How old is yours - maybe it's just a faulty batch, is it still under gurantee?

My PS2's DVD tray doesn't open when I press the button. I even tried pulling at it, but it just won't budge. unsure.gif

big debate. whats better PS or Xbox??

From pass experience i'd say Xbox BUT i am a PC man through and through. everything is better on the PC. i got controllers and sutff for footy and racing games and what not. Although the 360 will be about as good as my computer. getting a new one when i go to uni though tongue.gif

Nah, I just can't play the Xbox. The control is utter crap. As for PS, it rocks. cool2.gif

Can't wait for the PS3. It's supposed to be coming out at the end of this year - an international release this time.

I would buy one, but all I really play is Pro Ev 5 (PES - Pro Evolution Soccer 5) on my laptop. Honestly, if I'm playing that game and my dinner is ready I usually end up eating cold food! wacko.gif

Fifa is at best the spotty, stinking, ugly, midget, bollocks version of Pro Evo. If I had to choose between wiping my rear with sandpaper or the Fifa manual I'd probably choose the sandpaper.

It shouldn't even be mentioned in the sentence as Pro Evo.
