Cows are magnificent,
Cows I call them "moos",
And sometimes silly folk,
They call my moos "coos".

tomorrow doesn't matter,
turn that music up,
till the windows start to shatter,
cos you're the only one who can get me on my feet,
& i can't even dance

Edit: I will be spending my free time putting these posters up though, should piss off the management. And hopefully get a few people thinking:

If anyone wants the high-quality source TIFF, send me a PM and I shall oblige.

You've got to love people who call themselves socialists, it seems to me that "solidarity" is just an excuse for them all to skive off while they pretend they care about other people.
Obviously people deserve a decent pension if they have done a decent job, this isn't a socialist view, it's a fair view.

We were meant to be going to school but we got a letter round in the afternoon saying we don't have to go in. Its the first day the rector has given us off ever (any snow days have only been a minority of the school, an afternoon and decided by the depute).
The cross country has been postponed too.

Sheesh, talk about a pointless ad hominem attack. "You call yourself a socialist, therefore you're clearly a lazy degenerate type who just doesn't want to work." Nice one mate, real good way to show off reasoning and logical argument skills.
Had a nasty run in with a "socialist" recently?

A socialist's goal is for fair distribution of wealth, something seen as unatainable under a capitalist system - so it is a view supported by socialists. This does not mean other groups can't share a similar view on this particular issue.

Well rounded socialists who live in the real world know that it never works properly, and so aim to improve what we have. At least, for all the flaws in our system, we can choose who we are governed by. I suggest everyone uses their vote while they can since the revolution is coming

I have nothing against socialists (I am a liberal, each to their own), it's the idea that I don't like. Put it this way, I've worked hard (and still am) to get where I am in life. I am from a single-parent family, yet somehow (shock horror) I managed to do well at school and I'm currently doing quite well at university. Now I know I'll probably earn more than the average person later in life, and I'm prepared to pay my way and help those people who haven't done so well. What incentive is there if no one is rewarded for their hard work?

This all depends on what you mean by "fair" - if fair is punishing people who have excelled in their chosen role, then I'm afraid I don't agree with you.
And why then do socialists turn every instance of people being underpaid into propaganda for their selfish cause? Maybe if they spent more time and money (I know, that horrible "m" word) on improving things they would have more success. (I'm thinking of one so-called socialist with his own small political party, who never turns up for votes in the House of Commons.)
This thread is not about the merits and shortcomings of socialism, and therefore I don't think it is appropriate to post propaganda posters.
PS, this is not a personal attack against you. I have read many of your posts and have found myself agreeing with you on a number of occasions.
