Im just doing some last minute preparation for my French Oral which is on Tuesday.

How do I say:

"I can't remember, it was a long time ago." ?

and

"I can't be bothered trying to find a husband at the moment."

and would I pronounce "BBQ"... "bay bay koo"?!

Any help v much appreciated. smile.gif

"I can't remember, it was a long time ago" - "Je ne me souviens pas, ça s'est passé il y a longtemps." (literally - that happened a long time ago)

Am not sure exactly about the "I can't be bothered" part... I think in French people would just say: "Je n'ai pas envie de trouver un mari en ce moment." (but you could add "C'est toute une histoire" - "It's a hassle" to imply that you don't want to find a husband because it's too much bother lol!)

"Bar-bay-koo" is the French for BBQ.

Bonne chance avec l'examen! smile.gif
