I think this is the right place to post because it seems to be the most relevant. Sorry if its in the wrong place smile.gif

But anyway, the thing is that i got my options form for next year and its a load of crap. So far, ive filled two columns and still have another 3 to fill. Anyway, I can take ECDL in any column, so i was wondering if it would be worth doing, and do universities look favourably on it?

Thanks for your help in advance,
Nathan biggrin.gif

No universities will not look at it at all

Its nothing more than a training course for Mircosoft Office (more or less)

If i am not here i am somewhere else

correct

so far i've got;
AH Chemistry,
AH Maths

and thats it sad.gif

I dont wanna do AH Biology and AH Physics is in the same column as Chem mad.gif

and i would like to do gaelic, but its in the chem column. But, there's probably only gonna be me and 1 other person doing AH Gaelic, so they could probably reschedule that as there isnt a great deal of teaching involved

advanced higher biology would help you out with first year at uni, not that I know what first year medicine is like, but it has helped with my course

i *think* im gonna go with

AH Maths
AH Chemistry
AH Gaelic (cause the teacher has higher fluent class in a different column) and
AH Biology

....but that'll probably have changed by tonight

and Dave, you're probably right, ECDL would drive me insane!!

Um...four Advanced Highers in my opinion, is overkill. I think three would be enough. wink.gif

i think the majority of the AH Gaelic work is on the Personal Study, and the teacher has advised that i start that early, so i could have that out of the way by xmas and then i can concentrate on the other three.
