Some one asked me this the other day and i was like emm... good question. So after some thought i decided Spaced. Awesome comedy cracks me up. But there are some quailty ones to choose from. Monty Phyton for example = brillaint. Same goes for Black adder and Alan Partridge.

Post ur thoughts and vote. Obviously i have probably missed some big contenders and due u only allowing 10 had to miss out some like Big Train etc etc.

(personally i hate LB just a League of G rip off in my opition but made more family veiwable, but put it on cos i am sure it's a popular choice.)

Happy voting pk cool.gif

out of whats there, Red Dwarf

dunno what my fave brit comedy would be

although most mainstream ones nowadays are pish

(eg Little Britian, Catherine Tait, Karen Dunbar Show, etc)

But other good Brit Comedies would be Black Books, The Thin Blue Line, Only Fools and Horses, 2 Pints(as Jamie pointed out), Faulty Towers, The Green Ward, The IT Crowd(maybe, need to catch up on some episodes) and The Young Ones amongst others

Weird thing is, I don't really like British comedies. I like Teachers though. And Coupling was good.

Ok agree about little Britain, Catherine tait and Dunbar all being shite!

Catherine tait is AWFUL! just so not funny and yet people like her!! WHY?

plus black books is pretty darn poor in my opition.
Should have had Faulty Towers on the list though. forgot about that blush.gif Got them on dvd too blush.gifblush.gif And maybe some more slapstick ones like the young ones and bottom. my bad!

It's "Fawlty Towers", not "Faulty Towers"!

I voted for The League of Gentlemen.
Please vote for me! (Brendan Howard, 5th from bottom, only 1 vote required): http://answers.polld...m/poll/2330393/

Jeez...it's not a proper British comedy poll without Only Fools And Horses!

Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Monty Python, Peep Show and Teachers were also really funny.

Scottish stuff, come on, nothing beats Still Game.

I was too concerned that Only Fools and Horses wasn't in the poll tongue.gif

I vote for that with Blackadder a close second.

Little Britain is PANTS.
