All my subjects were Highers, but I had to work so hard at english, and even then it was my worst result sad.gif .

English was my worst subject too...and I got a B in the prelim and final - just stick in and you'll do OK. Plenty of close reading practice will have you doing that in your sleep - and there's 40 marks already!

Second prelims:

Maths - 92%
Chemistry - 96%

Still have my Biology one and that should be me for another 2 weeks. Now there's a scary thought.

Those are excellent marks,well done.

I got my second maths prelim back a week ago, 98% in that. Also we done a prelim on unit 3 in physics and I got 98% on that too. I think we will have another one to do in chemistry aswell soon.

Well done. I haven't yet had to do a second prelim for maths, perhaps my school isn't going bother. Since my last post here I have had my admin grade upgraded to an A (due to a low amount of people who passed the prelim) and got an A for music (76%). I guess I just need to further improve my grades to get safer A's in the finals.

I finished my second maths prelim calculator paper today. Got 75% for non-calculator, which I'm pleased with. It was much harder than any of the past papers. The non-calculator I'm a little worried about but everyone found it hard. I'm not expecting a high mark but it was a "lethal special". Probably would have helped if I'd revised out of class too.
Got chem and bio second prelims on Wednesday. The other physics class have a prelim then but we haven't finished the course yet, so I'm not sure when that is.

Oh wow blink.gif
Great marks too!

I found the maths prelim pretty challenging although not "impossible" as many people said it was.
It would be a pleasant surprise if the final exam was of that standard smile.gif

Cheers, and well done on your results too. I don't think most schools do two prelims for maths, it was just that alot of people who should have passed failed the first prelim we done. I don't know how it works for appeals evidence though.

Thanks smile.gif I agree, challenging, but not impossible exams are much more enjoyable to sit in my opinion.

What/where are you planning to study at university?

I hope to study Medicine at Glasgow, although I'm not overly concerned what University I go to.

How about you?
