Yes, midi sequencing is my optional element. Here's a basic outline of what it involves, if you're interested:
- A written paper of about twelve questions concerning the use of the compositional program Notator Logic aswell as some general questions about MIDI.
- A pre-written invention in Logic that the candidate must edit, for example, change tempo, pan an instrument to a different speaker, change volume settings etc.
- Submission of a 3-minute invention written in Logic that demonstrates use of MIDI sequencing techniques (like the ones mentioned above).
I play three instruments: Bass, Guitar and Piano. This year I will be playing bass for my performing exam.
When is it yous have your final practical exam?
My one is next tuesday (March 7th) and a specialist piping examiner is coming in on the March 15th to do my piping exam.
